Walks and Wags offers a friendly, reliable and personalised service to meet your requirements and to give your pets all the love, care and attention that they deserve.

Our services include: 

Daily dog walking on a regular, or ad hoc basis. Each dog is walked individually, or with dogs from

the same family, unless otherwise required. Dog walks are 30, 45 or 60 minutes long and as much as possible involve public footpaths away from the road. Dogs are walked on or off the lead depending on

the individual owner’s request.

  Home visits to care for dogs and cats of all ages. This service provides a cost effective alternative

   to putting your dog or cat  into a kennel or cattery, and can be for as many days as required. Your pet

   will be visited once or twice a day, each visit lasting approximately 15 minutes. During this time we

   will let them out  in the garden, feed them, change their drinking water, clean out litter trays and give

   them lots of affection and  TLC.

We will also keep an eye on your house security – bringing in post, papers etc, watering plants, putting rubbish out, opening and closing curtains and turning lights on and off and picking up phone messages if required.                              

Additional tailored visits for older dogs or puppies. Some dogs require extra visits for

toileting, or simply for socialisation or companionship. We offer an extended visit of 30 minutes

for this and will tailor it to each pet as required. 

         Pet day care provides longer periods of care for your pets, in your own home, if you are away

         or out for most of the day. Dogs will be given 2-3 walks and additional companionship and

         play, together with their regular feeding times so as not to disturb their daily routine more

         than necessary.

         This service offers an excellent alternative to kennels, allowing your dog to stay in familiar

         surroundings while you are away, and preventing them from suffering from boredom or 

         loneliness.  

House sitting and pet sitting live in service allows you to have complete peace of mind while you are away for a short break or on holiday. We will ask you to complete a comprehensive assignment sheet that will give the house sitters all the information required to enable them to look after your house and pets. All our house sitters are mature experienced

individuals or couples and all have had experience in looking after a variety of pets of their own.

Services can also include taxi runs to and from the airport or ferry terminal, lawn mowing, general garden maintenance, watering of house plants, answering the phone and taking messages.

       Dog boarding. This service enables your dog to live with one of our team members in their

       home while you are away. All of our staff have pets of their own, or have a wealth of

       experience looking after dogs and cats. Your pet will be treated as one of the family from the

       moment they arrive until the time you collect them. Prior to the booking you will be asked to

       complete a questionnaire giving us all the information we need to enable you dog to have a

       happy stay with us. You and your dog will also be given the opportunity to meet the team

       member in their own environment to ensure that you are happy with all the arrangements.

Home visits for small animals including rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, fish and exotics.This service

provides feeding, supplying fresh water and cleaning out cages as required and includes 1-2 visits a day depending on the pet and time of year.
